Why Sung-Jin chose FE 20-70mm F4 G

Sung-Jin wanted to capture the beauty and colours of New York in autumn and needed a versatile lens that could capture everything from street shots to scenery. As he planned to do a fair bit of walking, a light and compact lens was important to him which is why he chose the FE 20-70mm F4 G.

Travel Q&A with Sung-Jin

How did your equipment help you capture beautiful moments?

A wide-angle lens is ideal for capturing fleeting moments. You get to capture a scene and appreciate more of it in a wider frame. At its widest the FE 20-70mm F4 G lens is great for shooting tall buildings.

Where would you recommend fellow photographers to go in New York?

If you're visiting for the first time, I recommend strolling vertically through Manhattan. You can start from Lower Manhattan and walk all the way to Greenwich Village. You can also walk from Times Square to Central Park. I recommend early morning hours when there are fewer people.

What were your most memorable moments in New York?

On the last day of my trip at Central Park, the autumn colours of the maple leaves were beautifully coloured. The sunset made it even better.
