Ha Seong’s take on the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II

Ha Seong enjoyed the versatility of the FE 70-200mm F2.8 GM OSS II, which allowed him to capture subjects from afar easily with stunning image quality, whether it was a video or photo.  “When photographing animals from afar, I used a quick-zoom without checking the angle of view, and yet experienced excellent results.”

3 Reel Questions

How does professional camera gear help you create reels?

Being able to shoot incredibly clear footage with excellent image quality with this telephoto lens was the most attractive thing to me. I find without professional gear, it’s often difficult to properly enjoy the compression or bokeh effect when shooting in telephoto.

What are the most important points to consider when creating reels?

Image and background music are important elements that affect the mood you want to convey. Also, pay attention to the flow of the clip. It’s important that it moves naturally like water. It’s also essential that your opening clip be attention-grabbing.

What was the most memorable scene from your reels?

It would be the scene where a white horse appeared. I climbed a steep hill behind the hotel, and I was amazed when I came across the white horse after the ridge. I held my breath while shooting the beauty that seemed to be multiplied by the sunset.

Words of encouragement

To encourage others to elevate their reels, Ha Seong recommends paying attention to music. “Match your video to your music, if your music changes, your video should too.” Finally, “be intentional with what you capture and don't be afraid to be bold.”
