For this Reel, I envisioned a concept featuring a photographer embarking on an exhilarating hike through the Alps, armed with Sony's equipment to capture the breathtaking landscapes that unfolded before them. Drawing inspiration from visuals found in outdoor brand videos that beautifully showcased the majestic beauty of the Swiss mountains, I was able to craft a fast-paced and dynamic Reel by carefully referencing and incorporating these visual references.

What are the three key considerations when making a Reel?

Firstly, I dedicate considerable effort to curating visuals that seamlessly align with the desired location or theme.

Secondly, I place great importance on sound selection, particularly the choice of background music (BGM). The right soundtrack can set the tone and evoke the intended emotions. Therefore, I invest time in exploring a range of songs to discover the one that perfectly resonates with the desired feeling of the Reel.

Lastly, I strive for seamless synchronisation between the footage and the chosen music. By shooting footage specifically tailored to match the selected visuals. During the editing process, I try to align the clips with the music, ensuring a harmonious blend that elevates the storytelling.
